Everyone's Going to Nationals!

If you were to look up the definition of domination, you'd see a picture of Agua Fria cheer in the dictionary. This past weekend we brought three teams, and not just one qualified, not two, but all three! We could not be more happy with these results and are pleased to see the long hours starting to pay off. Here is a quick recap on the competition:

• Varsity Stunt started off the competition strong with a perfect routine! They were competing against 16 teams in the Advanced division, including many Division I schools (Pinnacle, Desert Mountain, Boulder Creek, etc.) and placed 7th, less than a point behind both 5th and 6th place.

• JV Stunt performed phenomenally as well, going against 9 teams, 8 of which were Varsity stunt teams (the competition does not split Varsity and JV stunt teams). Our very own JV team placed in 6th, beating three varsity teams, and grabbing that coveted Nationals bid in the process.

• Varsity Show Cheer had an off day and dropped two stunts in their routine; however, even on their bad days, they're still INCREDIBLY AMAZING. Despite two falls, these Varsity Cheerleaders secured 3rd place against 8 schools, losing 1st place to a Division I school and just barely missing 2nd place.
